While lovers serenade her, the woman tilts her head dreamily to hear “The Music in Her Soul”.  Two men compete for her attention – one with his guitar, his powerful creative instrument as his expression blushes with impish desire.  He promises her momentary ecstasy but no more.  The other lighter figure draws sweet notes from his recorder.  His instrument points straight at her heart with calm meditation.  He pledges his devotion.  The woman, however, wants both aspects of a lover – wild fire and cool reason, a balance of conflicting yet equally alluring temptations. She ponders the space she has made in the empty chair beside her.  Once the right man approaches she will invite him to sit and join her.  For now, enjoying a sip of wine, she is content in her solitude.

Mientras los amantes le dan una serenata, la mujer inclina la cabeza pensativa para escuchar “La música en su alma”. Dos hombres compiten por su atención, uno con su guitarra, su poderoso instrumento creativo. su expresión se sonroja con deseo travieso. Él promete su éxtasis momentáneo pero no más. La otra figura más ligera extrae notas dulces de su grabadora. Su instrumento apunta directamente a su corazón con meditación tranquila. Él promete su devoción. La mujer, sin embargo, quiere los dos aspectos de un amante: el fuego salvaje y la razón fría, un equilibrio de tentaciones conflictivas pero igual de atractivas. Pondera el espacio que ha hecho en la silla vacía a su lado. Una vez que el hombre correcto se acerca ella lo invitará a sentarse y unirse a ella. Por ahora, disfrutando de un sorbo de vino, ella está contenta en su soledad.
