Creating heirloom work with time-honored techniques and archival qualities that celebrate the basic human conditions and emotions has been the backbone of Yuroz’s work at Yuroz Art Studios. It is with great pleasure we announce the release of our first serigraph of 2016, titled “Dance with the Pomegranates.”
Yuroz notes, “Centuries of accumulated traditions were captured by iconography of the ancient world. Mythological Renaissance paintings revived and developed iconography with its own conventions. The images created in this branch of art present an incredible sense of balance between a palette of basic colors and the multi-dimensional coalescing of simple lines, curves and shades. Every piece of work in this genre exudes elegance and glamor accentuated by the warmth from the gold surface. I was drawn to it and felt compelled to infuse my knowledge and skills with elements from that genre, morphing my work to a new magnitude while hopefully preserving my core message to continue to celebrate the human spirit.”
Serigraphs are printed on acid free 4-ply museum boards. The printing is done by using the hand-printed serigraph method. Hand printing serigraphy uses ink that has been around for a long time, guaranteeing the longevity and stability of the color of the artwork. Each print is curated by a master printer. 23k gold leaf is applied by hand at the end of the process to each individual print.
Edition size is only 75, and dimension of the serigraph is 32″ X 50″.
